Apple Music

I had an Apple Music subscription that lapsed about a month or 2 ago, and now I have just renewed it but my music and playlists are not syncing (sync library is turned on).

I also can’t find anything to do with music in my iCloud settings.

how do I get my music back?

Once you cancel a subscription or let it expire, there is no guarantee if or for how long your music library will be retained after the last billing cycle. I am afraid you will have to start from scratch.
