Apple Music

I had an Apple Music subscription that lapsed about a month or 2 ago, and now I have just renewed it but my music and playlists are not syncing (sync library is turned on).

I also can’t find anything to do with music in my iCloud settings.

how do I get my music back?

How can I retrieve my lost music and playlists on Apple Music? I haven’t had Apple Music for awhile, maybe a couple months, due to personal reasons but I just got it back yesterday and ALL of my music/playlists that I’ve put so much time into and had for years are GONE! Usually when I would miss a payment and then pay it again, my music was still there. But not this time. And everything is on the same iCloud and everything is synced to my iCloud! Getting back my music on Apple Music I haven’t use my Apple Music or my iCloud in at least a year and I just now got an iPhone and I’m using my iCloud. I just signed into my Apple Music and noticed that all of my music is gone, I just renewed my subscription also. How do I get my music back and also how can I get any photos or apps back from my iCloud?

Once you cancel a subscription or let it expire, there is no guarantee if or for how long your music library will be retained after the last billing cycle. I am afraid you will have to start from scratch.
