FONT BOOK: How to delete some non-favourable fonts?

In Font Book, I cannot delete some fonts that perhaps I would never use.

Please advise / instruct.

Many thanks for your help.

If Adobe and Microsoft built in the same control as SoftMakerOffice, this would make life much simpler for everyone. Set the OS fonts you want to be visible ONCE in (example) Photoshop, and all of the other Adobe apps automatically follow. Same thing with MS Office. Or the any other suite you can name.

The current version of MS Office does show collections that have been defined in Apple Font Book. More and more, this sounds like mostly an Adobe problem.

Well, that's a very big font list you have. I guess it impresses someone.

It's a statement of fact. Nothing else. I only have that many to be legal with the projects clients send. Even if they send the fonts they used with the rest of their files, you still have to legally have your own copies of the same fonts.

The fact that they don't show up means you are using some 30-year old "hide the fonts" system that was horrible when originally devised.

Uh, no. They don't show up because THEY AREN'T ENABLED.
