What is not working is streaming to HBO MAX and Disney. Application seems to see Apple TV but simply when you start anything it gives error. If your tv does not support Airplay, you can not use airplay on it.

Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
