Headphone iPad Air 4th gen
i bought a USB C converter to use regular headphone with my new iPad, but when I plug it in I get no sound. Can someone help me figure out why?

So, you can request a refund. But before you try a refund, see if a friend or family member has headphones that you could try. Or maybe you have some somewhere in your house.
(I have headphones that you could use, but I’m pretty sure you love nowhere near me. 😂)

Can you link to the adapter you purchased?

Are the headphones fully inserted into the 3.5mm jack? It may take some force to insert them.
You can try different headphones, or cleaning the port.
maybe you can request a replacement.
also, is this adapter (aka “dongle”) made by apple?
