Is it possible to install more than one eSIM?

Even though "QuickTimeKirk" answered in 2019 that one could install only one eSiM, Vodafone Italy on their website claims that an iPhone capable of accepting eSIM's is capable of accepting more than one eSIM installation, although obviously only one eSIM account can be active. Can you please confirm that, in fact, an iPhone (in my case 11 Pro) can accept multiple eSIM installations while activating only one at a time? I am also assuming that the standard SIM is also installed and active at the same time that one eSIM is active. Thanks!

I believe that you can have 10 e-SIM profiles installed.

You can store more than one eSIM in your iPhone, but you can use only one at a time. To switch eSIMs, tap Settings, tap either Cellular or Mobile Data, and then tap the plan you want to use. Then tap Turn On This Line.
