Chase App

It is working EXACTLY the way it should. When you force close an app it is designed to disconnect, so it will log out.

I don't think he posed his question correctly and at one time in the past I had this problem with Chase where if you restarted the iPhone, or removed it from recently used, the next time you opened the Chase app it would ask if you wanted to set up Face ID and use it.

Perhaps. But I use the Chase app and have never had to reset Face ID the next time I open app (if fully closed). I understand not having to force close apps. But what the OP is experiencing shouldn't be happening, tbh.

If I were the OP, I'd delete the app from my phone. Then reinstall the app, set up Face ID fresh on the App and hopefully, that will fix this for them.

In my case it was a problem on the server side of Chase and they had to fix it.
