Media volume won’t turn all the way off

I just recently switched phones from a 6s to the 2020 SE. When I’m listening to music connect to my Bluetooth speakers and I turn the volume all the way down it still plays sound at like 7% or something. Is there a way to disable that setting? Because when I turn the volume all the way down I don’t expect to hear what’s playing but I still hear it loud and clear, especially in a quiet room. (The reason I do it is so I don’t have to listen to adds from YouTube or pandora for example.)

Sorry to hear. Looks like the SE BT is wearing down. I would schedule repair https://getsupport.apple.com/. At the very least they’ll run diagnostics, all free. If the BT module is faulty, you’ll get an estimate which you can decline if it’s over-the-top. Good luck!
