Allergic reaction to Apple Watch band

Good evening!

Today I figured out that I have allergic reaction to my Apple Watch band. My skin became red where the band was. It happened for the second time (at first I haven’t thought of the allergy). So, what should I do in this case? And why apple device are not hypoallergenic? I know that this case is not the only one since I have done some research on the Internet.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

I had the same problem with the silicone bands. I switched to a UAG Nylon band and haven't had any issues since. The bands by UAG are around $30-$40, but they seem to be very durable. I clean it every week with soap and a toothbrush. I've owned it for about 8 or 9 months now and it still looks new.

Speaking as someone who has lots of allergies and gets shots in both arms once a month, they are hypoallergenic but that does not mean that everyone in the world won't possibly have an allergy to it. If it is not reacting this way every time you wear it then it won't be an allergy, it can be that it is too tight, it was hot out, etc. Make an appointment with your physician or an allergist, take your watch with you and show them this picture.
