Kid #1, Kid #2, wife, and myself all on same apple ID and it has been that way for years. For some reason when they got their first ipods 7-8 years ago, it seemed logical. LOL. We would like to use family sharing, but it is my understanding that they each need their own apple ID. What is the easiest way to delete them off our apple ID, get them new apple IDs without losing their contacts and pictures, etc. Thanks

Look into using Family Sharing to continue to be able to use items purchased with one Apple ID with other Apple IDs.

Note when they sign out of hte family ID they will be offered to leave old data on their devices.
