Blue Tooth for Phonak hearing aid on Apple 11

I have been unable to establish bluetooth communication with my Phonak KS9 hearing aids.

I have been told, when looking into this problem, that the Apple11 is not compatible with these eharing aids. Does anyone have any information concerning this problem and whether the incompatibility problem exists? Many thanks (If so did you contact Apple about it?)
