Safari bookmarks folder icons

Is there a way to customise the folder icons in the Safari drop-down bookmarks menu rather than having the standard blue folder icon?

Using Safari 13.1.2 on a mid-2011iMac, 27inch, running macOS High Sierra 10.13.6

iMac, OS X 10.11

Hey there Gary Young,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you want the ability to change your folder icon in Safari. We're happy to provide assistance.

You can change icons or folders on Finder in a Mac by following the steps here:

However, for suggestions and feedback on doing this on other Apple apps, you can leave feedback here:

Thanks for your response but this isn't quite what I meant. I can change the folders and app icons across my Mac to suit my preference but I'm looking specifically at the folders within the Safari bookmarks drop-down menu.

In the drop-down menu the various folders are the standard default blue icon and those are the ones I would like to customise if possible. I can't find a way to bring up a get-info box or a copy/paste command for these particular bookmark folders.
