Just wondering if anyone knows of a way around being able to use WAVES plugins in Garageband with the new M1 chip.... My lead vocal track keeps cutting in and out because these products are not yet updated to process using this new mac chip!

Just a WAG but you could try to run Garageband under Rosetta:
Ah ha! I see, thanks Keith. I found the issue, it wasn't a waves plug in after all it was another plugin called 'Vocal Doubler' that was setting it off - Hooray!
That is because it *already* runs under Rosetta since it is not made for M1.
It says on their website that it's not yet compatible with M1 chip on Garageband, it's hard knowing when this update will happen - I'm hoping there's a way around it with a full album recorded and ready for release but vocals cutting in and out isn't ideal.
What do the WAVES people say?
Thanks Keith! I'm able to select and run garageband under Rosetta but its not coming up as an option for the Waves plugin when I select 'Get info' in the app :(
