I need to set my new iMac to 60 percent increase in Contrast (5th not over) from Accessibility, to dark mode to read from books How can I get Automator to do this please? I got Dark mode with Automator, but can't seem to get into Accessibility with the app. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Running 11.6 on Mi iMac.
iMac Line (2012 and Later)
Automator can only perform actions in the Library. If there isn't an action to do what you want, you may be able to use AppleScript or a shell script within Automator if those settings can be adjusted by either of those. I don't know if either is possible.
You can open the Accessibility pane of System Preferences from within Automator with a "Run AppleScript" action.
From there on, we're into the shady world of "GUI Scripting", and I am not sure how to get a dependable script, but start here:
