Usb and Thunderbolt to VGA

I currently have a Thunderbolt to VGA adapter that is working perfectly. Can I add a usb to vga to connect another screen to my macbook air?

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that you are wanting to know if you can connect a USB to your thunderbolt VGA to connect an external monitor to your Mac. We would love to provide you support on this. 


If your VGA adapter has the USB connection built in, and your external monitor has a connection that matches then there shouldn't be an issue. We strongly suggest making sure that the adapter you're using fits both cables your wanting to use, and there should be no issue.
