Connecting iPad Mini to an LG Display
I was wondering if the iPad Mini launched September 2021 is supported by the LG UltraFine 4K Display.
I have not encountered a full specification for the 2021 iPad mini that lists HDMI Alternate Mode for USB-C. Consider that outside of Apple, nobody has yet seen the new iPad mini - or had opportunity to verify its full technical specifications or capabilities.
As such and to a certain degree speculative, it is perhaps a reasonable assumption at this time that USB4 and HDMI Alternate Mode may remain exclusive to the 2021 models of iPad Pro. The iPad Air, also with USB-C, similarly does not support USB4 or HDMI Alternate Mode.
