i have recently reinstalled Outlook (work emails) on my iPhone, which is working fine BUT the icon is nowhere to be found. I either leave the app open and swipe to it, or I have to pull the search bar down and type it in. But I can’t seem to find the icon anywhere. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, And turned the phone off and on again. I looked under settings, still nothing.
Any newly installed app usually ends up on a new screen of icons. From the iPhone's desktop, swipe to the left (possibly more than once if you have a lot of apps installed). You'll most likely find it there.

Two Things:
A. Try Resetting the Home Screen:
Go Here: Move and organize apps on iPhone - Apple Support
Scroll to: Reset the Home Screen and Apps to their Original Layout
B. Restarting the iPhone:
If any changes were made (i.e. Installed Apps), then Settings (i.e Wf-Fi), may have become manipulated technically. So, try restarting the iPhone:

Thank you all. The reset wiped out my organized apps, so I had to shuffle them around which took some time, BUT Outlook reappeared! All good- thanks!

I figured you probably already tried the obvious, but it was the only simple thing to try I could think of.
It's very bizarre the app is installed, but the icon is absent.
Go to: Settings
Tap: General
Tap: Reset
Don't you think it would be a good idea to let a user know this will wipe everything off their device!
That's the type of information you should mention the first time.
