Update problem
I cannot download the update as it says no I’m no longer connected to the internet. I have connected my phone to my laptop and it still doesn’t update. What can I do???

If you have used a beta version, delete the beta profile.
Otherwise, check: Settings - General - iPhone Storage - check here for an iOS update file. Delete the file.
Check again for the correct iOS version (14.8).

I have deleted the beta profile and my phone restarted afterwards. It shows I the iOS 14.8 software update is available. I’m downloading it now. Would the problem be solved now? I had a irritating update window popping up the whole time which I want to get rid of
Yes, that should take care of the problem. iOS 14.8 is indeed the most recent version.
