How do I add an email address as a Safe Sender in Apple mail?
How do I add an email address as a Safe Sender in Apple mail, without creating a contact for that email address, and without emailing that sender?
I've spent so much time trying to find what I would expect to be a very simple feature in Apple mail and can't find it. There are many emails I get which keep going to junk which are not junk--including some of which are from senders I have sent email to literally dozens of times.
I absolutely do not want to clog up my contacts list by creating dozens of contacts just to give them email addresses, which is the most common solution I read about. "Contacts" should be for, well, contacts--not as a workaround for an evidently basic "safe senders" feature which appears to be missing from Apple mail.
I also do not want to email these people back in order to keep them out of junk mail, which I have heard as a workaround. Besides, I don't think that works anyway as I have people I've emailed dozens of times and their emails still go to junk mail.
Is there not a simple button or "safe senders" list I can click to add these email addresses to? I'm running 11.5.2 and it's 2021--it boggles my mind that this basic feature may not be in Apple mail?!
