Hey, so I have a MacBook Pro 2013 retina 13", and it keeps switching to both displays, and I only want it to use one display and also be able to use the keyboard of the MacBook. I have plugged it in for charge, and also. closed the lid, but I want to use the key board of the Mac and the monitor only. Please help!!
Use the "Mirror" mode and turn down the brightness on the Macbook display.

Unplug the external display and external keyboard from the computer.
I have one monitor and the Mac Retina display. just like in windows, I want to use external display only how do I do that
