How can I watch DirecTV on my macbook pro computer (Catalina) using Safari browser?

DirecTV staff say I can do this only with Adobe Flash, but Adobe Flash is no

longer available and is unsupported by Adobe. The DirecTV site says that

the DirecTV Player may be downloaded and used, but when I download that

it never starts, claiming it " ran into a problem.'

Does DirecTV work OK with Windows? Is the problem just DirecTV for mac?

If DirectTV does not have a streaming HTML5 compatible application, or allow you to stream HTML5 from a signed-in account, and all they have to offer is an old, now defunct Flash player based application, then you are done with your viewing quest on your Mac.

Adobe pulled the plug on Flash technology at the end of last year and it is unsupported on all computer platforms. If you want free viewing on your Mac, visit the Pluto.tv site. They also have an AppleTV 4K+ application from the TVOS App Store.
