Macbook M1 Battery Stops Charging

Hey, there's something happening with my macbook that I think maybe could be some trouble.

The point is, sometimes, my macbook stops charging, even when it's plugged to the charger. This usually happens when the macbook is charged at 90-100%. And when the battery reaches something around 88%, the battery starts charging and it goes until 100%. I have never ever seen someone report this behavior, would anyone know if this is a problem with my machine or is a feature to probably save the battery life of my macbook?

Sounds like 'automatic function' to help maintain/exercise battery for longer life.

Helps to keep charge cycle-count lower than some guesswork manual methods.
