Lost music from old ID

If I changed my apple id and lost music from the old id is there a way to retrieve the previously purchased music?

You can try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.

Your music "belongs" to the Apple ID with which it was purchased. You can log in using that ID and download any purchases or play the music currently in your library that is authorized for your old ID
