Trouble with internet sharing from iphone to macbook

Usually I can connect to the internet by sharing connection from my iPhone 12 Pro to my Macbook Air. (But sometimes I have trouble finding my phone on the list of wifi hotspots and have to try for quite a while)

HOWEVER, if I have connected like this and then close down the computer for a while, its impossible to connect again. In order to connect again i need to restart my computer and sometimes even that doesn't work.

Is there any way to refresh the connection to enable reconnnection without restarting the computer?

Do you have any other ideas in order to make it easier to surf on my computer using my iphones connection?
