I can't update my iPhone 6s to iOS 14.8

I tried to update my iPhone 6s to the latest update, 14.8. I get an error message saying it can’t be updated so I try to restore it to the backup. Then, I get a message that it can’t be updated or restored. Suggested I turn off phone and computer. I did and while rebooting my computer upgraded. Now, I want to try again. Any advice?

Now all I get when I try to update is "Unable to Check for Update" My iPhone 11 will not update to IOS 14.6. I have 14.5.1 installed and although there have been some minor issues with it in general it has been working well. Now, when I try to update to IOS 14.6 I get the message "Unable to Check for Updates". I have rebooted the phone and tried for several days with no effect. Any suggestions?

Hello ~ Take a look here and do you have enough storage for update?

if your storage is insufficient, apple will not allow you to see "download and install". is there any other reason?
