How do I connect a Dell U2515H monitor to an iMac 24? I had been using the monitor with a MacMini TB2 connection and the DP port on the monitor. It worked without a problem. Apple has an a TB2 to USB C adapter, but says it does not support a monitor. I'm lost. Thanks

Tried one of the HDMI ports with a standard cable and it worked with old MacMini, so ordered the Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter $69. I will update if that works. Thanks for helping me to think this through.
It has (from the user manual):
HDMI (MHL) port connector; Connect your MHL devices with MHL cable
DisplayPort in connector; Connect your computer with DP cable. (What I used with MacMini TB2)
Mini DisplayPort in connector; Connect your computer with Mini-DP to DP cable.
DisplayPort out (MST) connector; DP output for MST
USB upstream port and downstream ports - to use USB A ports on monitor

Also looks like two HDMI connectors, but not at all sure what the manual is talking about. It says: "Connector type: DP, black connector (includes DP in and DP out); Mini DisplayPort; HDMI (MHL); SB 3.0"
This is way beyond my knowledge.
What inputs does the Dell display have, surely it must have more than MDP.
Use a high quality USB 3 to HDMI adapter and it should work.
