Target Display Mode to connect PC/Laptop to iMac 27" late 2012

Can I use target display mode on an iMac to use the iMac 27" late 2012 as a monitor for a new Dell Latitude 5411 laptop? It does not work when I try connecting via thunderbolt cable?

No, the Late 2012 iMac can only be used as a display by a limited number of year model Mac's.
