New Phone - Trying to Restore from the wrong apple id

Hello-


I just purchased a new iphone 12 today. It is attempting to restore information from the cloud. However, nothing is loading. Come to find that it is trying to restore from the wrong apple id. It won't allow me to sign out because it says that I can't sign out while restoring. But it won't be able to restore because the apple id is incorrect... Vicious cycle.... I have updated my apple id in the app store and the wallet. Need some help!
