Safari tabs keep crashing or not loading after Big Sur 11.6 update

Since the most recent update to v11.6 Big Sur, Safari 14.1.2 is no longer able to open many websites I tend to visit. Pages cause the tab to crash (and generate a crash report), or it just fails to load with an error and the option to reload the page (which doesn't work). I've tried opening a Private Window, disabling all extensions, clearing the History, and removing Website Data on the Privacy tab of Preferences, but nothing has solved the problem.

Even common websites are having trouble loading most of the time, initially loading but then refreshing with the error This webpage was reloaded because a problem occurred and then refreshing a third time with nothing but the error message

See if anything here helps.

Safari can’t open a website.

Safari – slow page loads.

Safari - Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues.

Safari doesn't load a page or webpage items are missing.

Well, since the moderator removed all the specific (and innocuous!) example links that crashed Safari, this post is now useless to everyone.

CNN Style and Rolling Stone are two websites that don't work in Safari since 11.6, but Disney and LA TImes are two that still do. Hopefully that's enough information for people to track down this problem.

I had to use FireFox as a browser. Finally working normally again after I reinstalled from OS recovery. I’m not going to attempt the update again since I spent over 5 hours dealing with updates and chats today to finally get it working okay again.

I Updated to 15.0 last night and I am now having problems with loading pages with an error message and the option to reload the page (which doesn't work). I did not have this issue with my previous version. it seems to only effect the webpages for all of my finaical institutions and one major credit card.

Today's Apple update of Safari to version 15.0 solved the tab crashing problems.

MacOS Big Sur 11.6 does not resolve this, in fact, it's worse.

resize browser — crash
open bookmark panel — crash
move browser — crash

Sadly I am using CRHOME to post this message. What's up?

No. As I noted in my original post, I already tried the usual fixes Apple suggests. None of those articles presented anything new that I haven't already tried.

Tried a safe mode boot but that gave the same problem …now reinstalling Big Sur

Same here, I updated to safari 15 and I'm experiencing this problem with eBay auctions pages, for example. They reload 2 o 3 times I guess and then crash with a report, but the app remains stable.
