I need to change the country/region settings for my Apple ID

Hi,

I need to change the country/region settings for my Apple ID, and in order for me to do that, Apple says that I need to cancel my Apple Music subscription. The problem is that I am sharing a family plan and I am worried that if I do that, everyone will loose their content of their libraries. What’s the case if I cancel my music subscription just for changing the region and reactivate it moments after? Can we still keep our music content?

Canceling will permanently erase your subscription and everything with it. If/when renew, it’ll be equivalent to starting afresh. Family members won’t be affected, however to be safe, have the administrator remove you from the family prior to canceling.

That’s the problem. I am the administrator, thus if I cancel, my whole family’s subscription would be cancel. I only need to do that to change the region. I will resubscribe right after. My current subscription ends on October 2nd, so if I renew it before that, I should be fine, right?
