How do I delete old texts. It’s slowing up my pne

There are a few ways to delete old messages. One way is to go to the chat with the old messages and hold down on one of the messages, then a little menu will show up, click “more…” then in the top left corner is a delete all option. You can also swipe left on a chat on the main messages list to delete it. Another way to delete messages keeping up storage is to go to settings>general>iPhone storage and there is a delete large attachments option. Finally, if you want old texts to delete overtime you can go to settings>Messages>message history, and you can chose how long texts stay for.
