hi. got an old ipad 2 from the daughter. she has removed it from her apple account. i'm trying to get it to my apple account. i used my ID and password and it doesn't recognize my ID. any help? thanks.

If your getting the Activation lock then your daughter has not removed it from her ID.

Hi, she did all that. what do I need to do so i can use it? it sees my wi-fi network and connects. it then goes to an Activation Lock page that wants an apple id and password. i type in mine and it doesn't recognize it.
am i missing something?
