Mac desktop app problems

I recently downloaded Big Sur. Since then I have lost some apps I was using and some of my apps are not working properly.


I need to make an appointment with the Genius Bar or Unitek.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.5

I have totally lost my Skype app from my desktop, and I cannot get the share screen in Zoom to show what is on my desktop or use the white board. The Zoom app downloaded but I am having trouble with that feature. I have read about and followed the directions on how to solve the problem, but nothing works. I am a teacher and need to use screen share for my students.
