IPAD headphone output problem

Hello,

Just a few weeks ago when I connected my Epad to my Hifi Amplifier there was no sound to listen to my music. The connection are good. The amplifier is perfect too. The problem is my IPAD headphone output. I still can liste to music with headphones but not with the Amplifier. Is there anyone who could tell me what's wrong? Or what I could do to solve the problem.

Many thanks...

As described, the cable that you are using to connect your iPad headphone socket to your HiFi Amplifier may not be wired correctly for iPad. There are different wiring standards for TRRS connections.

In general, there are three main wiring standards for 3.5mm TTRS connections - and they are not interchangeable:

CTIA (Apple)

OMTP (Nokia)

Camcorder AV
