How do I restore deleted messages that aren’t backed up in the icloud?
If you have a device backup, you can restore your device using a backup that contains the texts. This will be at the expense of anything new on your device since the last backup. Visit https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204184 to learn how to restore from a backup.
If you were syncing Messages with iCloud and deleted them, they can't be recovered.
