iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th Gen)

Hello,

This is Kevin Park, who recently got a new iPad.

Since the iPad screen showed slowly when unlocking the iPad, I tried shutting it down by going to settings. But, it is not turning back on, even if I tried 'Quickly press and release the Volume Up button, then quickly press and release the Volume Down button. Finally, press and hold the Side/Power button until the screen turns" countless times I even charged and tried turn back on later. But nothing...

So, I tried iOs fixing programs like 'iMyFone Fixppo' and 'UltFone iOS System Repair' and connecting the iPad with iTunes. I hear the iPad is running but have a black screen issue. I think it is because I kept wiping it with anti-bacterial wipes because of the fingerprints... Is it?

Do you know how to fix this? I think it's not a hardware issue as I can hear the iPad.

First, connect your iPad to its Power Adapter and allow the iPad to charge.

Whilst the iPad is still connected to the Power Adapter, if iPad isn’t responding, do one of the following:

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

If iPad still doesn’t turn on, or if it gets stuck during start up, see the Apple Support article If your iPad won’t turn on or is frozen. Or if your iPad isn’t working correctly after you restart it, see the iPad Support website.
