My AirTag disappeared from Find My after updating my iPhone to iOS 15. Anyone know the fix? Removed the AirTag using my iPad and followed the AirTag steps. No luck. Still can’t add it back. I can add the AirTag to the iPad (not running iOS 15) but it won’t show up on the iPhone. Pic shows the error when trying to add the AirTag on the iOS 15 iPhone.

Really apple? Reseting the iPhone is the solution? reseting 3 times works better? After iOS 15 all my airTags disappear from my phone, they are on iCloud. Reseting 3+ times It did not work for me. Ridiculous.
Glad you got yours fixed. I tried on mine and still no luck. I am able to add my AirTag to my iPad running older version of iOS but the iPhone 12 with ios15 doesn’t see any items.
Unfortunately these steps didn’t correct my problem. Still can’t connect my AirTags with iPhone on iOS 15. Waiting for a call back from the engineering support.

I have another call scheduled with AppleCare engineering tomorrow afternoon. I will definitely provide an update here if this gets resolved.

This didn't work for me (hopefully it worked for others). Frustratingly, I'll have to speak with an engineer.
I was hoping that iOS 15.0.1 would have a fix in it but apparently it doesn't.
They want me to do a factory wipe. :(
Tried that dozens of times already. It won’t even connect to a new AirTag out of the box.
No way...... Also how rebooting the Air Tag will fix the problem. My Airtag connects perfectly with my iCloud. Apple, please fix it!!!!!!
yup, that works. The tags came back after the 3rd time
I had 5 of my AirTags work again after different steps. But my 6th airtag never popped back up. Apple decided to just send me a new one.
