When I try to update my phone to 14.7 it saying Unable to Verify Update iOS 14.7 failed verification because you are no longer connected to the Internet. Even though I am connected to Wi-Fi

That’s because you can’t update to iOS 14.7. In addition, you can’t update in low power mode. You need to go to Settings/General/iPhone Storage and delete the 14.7 download. Then go to Settings/General/Profiles and delete the iOS 14 beta profile. After that you should be able to update to iOS 14.8 or iOS 15 (your choice).

That’s because you can’t update to iOS 14.7. In addition, you can’t update in low power mode. You need to go to Settings/General/iPhone Storage and delete the 14.7 download. Then go to Settings/General/Profiles and delete the iOS 14 beta profile. After that you should be able to update to iOS 14.8 or iOS 15 (your choice).

That means you didn’t follow my instructions. I’ll be more explicit this time:

  • Unlock your phone
  • Make sure it is on the HOME screen
  • Tap Settings
  • Tap General
  • Scroll down to the bottom
  • Look just below VPN and you should see Profiles
  • Tap on Profiles
  • Tap on the beta profile
  • Tap Remove or Delete
  • Wait for the phone to restart
  • Go to Settings/General/Software Update and you should see iOS 14.8 and also an option for iOS 15


And if you don’t understand what beta testing means don’t install prerelease beta software in the future.
