Siri is 'unable' to read missed calls or call last missed call all of a sudden

i use this feature everyday due to visual impairment and since this morning siri has replied with "i cant help with that" when asking for missed calls, call last missed call etc.

i rely on this feature heavily and suddenly siri is unable to do this. please can someone help. no settings have been changed and others iphones are having the same issue too.

i have also restarted the phone and nothing changed.

iPhone 12, iOS 14

+1. My mom is blind, and this is a non-starter for her. It makes her phone useless.

As everyone else have already mentioned, my cousin who is legally blind is also experiencing this issue. He uses the read missed call and open voicemail when doctor's call and leave messages. It allows him the opportunity to hear who called and he can call back. It has been a wonderful feature for him and I'm hoping that a fix will happen so that he can be able to use the feature again. Thank You

Okay so my mom is visually impaired and this is what i found to help. You have to go to your notifications and turn on siri reading phone notifications. Then tell her "read phone notifications" and it will tell you your last missed call. its different and more work then before but it works
