Apple Mail

I'm saving some emails and want the attachments to save as well. So far they have not been. I read that if you format in rich text, attachments will save with the email. "make rich text" is greyed out in the drop down of Format (look to right bottom of attached screenshot). How can I make this so it is not greyed out?

Mail Attachments won't open – hang in "downloading" Hello, I'm no longer able to download some attachments in Mail. The file says its "downloading..." (see image below), but I can't actually download or save it. I've tried forwarding the message to another account (Gmail) but there's no attachment to open. I've tried Rebuild but there's nothing that says rebuilding is going on in the background (is it?). This inability to download doesn't happen all the time. Someone sent me a jpg from their iPhone and couldn't open it (sent to my hotmail account). Likewise with this pdf (below) - no dice. But I was able to download a Word document sent from within the same (gmail) account. So it doesn't seem to be a hotmail/gmail issue. Any thoughts on what else I can try? I have a MacBook Pro mid 2012, using High Sierra

Send later button missing in Apple Mail This Help page shows that Apple Mail should have a "Send later" option to schedule mail: Write, send and schedule emails in Mail on Mac - Apple Support (HK) However, the drop-down next to the send button is missing from my Apple Mail app: How can I turn on this feature?

Hi Cindy, that only works in Compose window, not a read window.

Might Forward them to yourself.
