Disk Utility - First Aid - Fusion Drive Checking Hierarchy?
My iMac has an internal Fusion Drive.
Disk Utility shows under the Fusion Drive something called Container disk2. Under Container disk2 is further listed MacIntosh HD and MacIntosh HD - Data.
When simply checking the Internal storage in preparation for an upgrade to MacOS (for instance) is it sufficient to only run First Aid on the top item, namely Fusion Drive, to check for and potentially correct any problems.
Or would it be better to run First Aid on them all individually, from Fusion Drive at the top of the list all the way down to MacIntosh HD - Data?
The heirarchy I refer to is as follows -
↓ Fusion Drive
↓ Container disk2
↓ MacIntosh HD
↓ MacIntosh HD - Data
