Safari 15.0 Update Issue, macOS Catalina

I had the same "An error repeatedly occurred" issue in Safari 15.0 on Catalina 10.15.7. Reinstalling the linked Safari 15.0 and restarting now allows loading of eBay, Citi and Wells. Thank you very much @bryanr14.

Just to be sure, let's see if there's an available software update for Safari on your Mac. Here's how: Update or reinstall Safari for your computer

If no update appears, you can download and reinstall Safari 15.0 through this link: Safari 15.0

Once the install is complete, please restart your Mac and see if you can browse the web in Safari without any issues.

I just installed latest update 15.1 and problem seems resolved fingers crossed; took Apple over 2 weeks, rubbish customer service.

I had the same problem also, Catalina on MBP2020. Did all kinds Safari re-installs and cash cleanings none of them worked.

Finally, re-install of Catalina seems to have solved the problem. But, it is a shame, to have lost all these hours on research and re-install for a lousy mistake by a so-called ingenious firm.

FWIW, here are my answers to some of the above questions..

I've checked the swcdn.apple.com website and I believe it to be authentic. I have downloaded and installed Safari using the link and it has fixed my problem with websites being reloaded. I see nothing unusual about the Mac since the install. Safari 15 is the same build as before the download.

I have read on another forum where this download is strictly for Catalina users and I believe this is true because the name of the downloaded package is "Safari15.0CatalinaAuto.pkg.

I just installed macOS Monterey and the issue of Safari is resolved. Try it and see if it resolve for you as well.

Well, bryanr14 nailed this issue. I also could not load eBay and two bank sites. No updates to Safari v15.0 but a reinstall and restart fixed the issue. Running Catalina v10.15.7. I wish the two different Apple techs yesterday had this fix after 1 1/2 hrs.

Reinstalling Safari 15.0 with above mentioned link was the only help that worked for me.

Why hasn't Apple itself published that remedy?

Reinstalling Safari worked for me too

After updating to Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 today, when I used Safari, it would always kept on reloading and a prompt would appear "webpage was reloaded because a problem occurred". Can't use Safari anymore. I had to switch to google chrome. How do I solve this problem?

I'm having the same issue with Safari not be able to stream from my Cable provider, Cox. I have checked for OS updates and Safari updates and non are available. I used the link provided to download and reinstall Safari 15.0 and following the steps. I continue to reproduce the issue.
