I have successfully created icloud+ private domain email! Now it shows installed on iPhone however I cant choose that email as the outgoing on my emails. Also, have not been able to add it to my Outlook desktop.
Thoughts?

Which Protocol to Use:
It may need to be set up based on the incoming and outgoing mail servers' settings. The mail would be configured with protocols and port numbers. Likely, it has to do with the mail protocol being use (IMAP or POP or SMTP) and its assigned port number.
So, ask Microsoft:
For Outlook I'd recommend chatting with Microsoft, as they are the developer of the software. Ask them how to recognize the domain. You may need to set this up manually though use of different protocols(IMAP or POP or SMTP). Start Here: Microsoft Contact Us Virtual Agent - Microsoft Support. Perform a chat session with Microsoft using a computer, as it would be more user-friendly doing so.

Thanks for taking the time to address my issue.
I followed all of those to create the custom domain name email. The proble is getting it recognized on "MAIL" on the iPhone and also created as an account on my desktop Outlook.
The phone says the account is created (it is shown under my accounts on icloud) but I cannot choose it as a "send from" acount.
In Outlook, it just wont recognize the domain. I am using outgoing and incoming settings for iCloud
