macbook pro big sur says printer is offline

My Macbook Pro M1, Big Sur 11.6, thinks my Canon inkjet printer is offline. It was working normally for a long time. I'm not aware of changing anything to cause it (no OS update, etc.)

When I couldn't get it back online, I reset the printing system. After some time (and an uncertain sequence of events), the printer shows up in the printer list - but it is still offline.

Meanwhile, I can print from my wife's Macbook Pro (Intel) as well as my iPhone and iPad. Clearly the issue is with my Mac. Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Ken K

Thank you! The issue was that somehow my computer had switched to my guest network. I'm not sure how that happened, but when I changed it back the printer came back, too!
