Hello Calvin_BT! Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities.
We understand that you want to know how to create a Quick Note using your iPad. We'd like to look into this with you to see how we can help.
Apple provides three separate ways to start a Quick Note:
• Swipe up from the bottom right corner of the display using your finger or Apple Pencil.
• Open Control Center, then tap the Quick Note button. (If you don’t see the Quick Note button, add it to Control Center—go to Settings > Control Center, then choose Quick Note).
• If your iPad is connected to an Apple external keyboard, use the Globe-Q keyboard shortcut to open Quick Notes. If Quick Notes is already open, you can use Command-N to create a new note.

The gesture to trigger QuickNote is not an upward swipe from bottom-right of the screen - but instead requires a diagonal swipe from the bottom-right corner of the screen towards the centre.
Hello Calvin_BT!
If your iPad is fully up to date with the latest iPadOS: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, and you're unable to use Quick Notes, we'd recommend reaching out to Apple Support to look into this further with you: Get Support
Cheers!
Hi @kareng12 Is there a way to turn off Quick Note? It has made scrolling from the bottom of a web page impossible without first having to get rid of a Quick note.
Thanks,
Kyle
