Both my daughter and I share the same email associated with my apple id or iCloud. I had got a new phone and she got my old one. How do I make are accounts different without deleting anything important? When I receive text and calls so does her phone

No. Not if you follow the steps outline at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201351 (Sorry, I gave the Mac instructions above. These are for iPhone). When you sign out of your account it disconnects the device so that you can erase it and start fresh. It's pretty easy to do, just follow the guide.

She should create a new Apple ID (appleid.apple.com)
Her phone, your old one, should then be set up with her Apple ID.
I’m sry for all the questions but I’m literally illiterate with this stuff. When I had erased phone numbers on her phone previously they also were erased from my phone. If I erase and reset her phone is it going to erase things on my phone as well?
