WebSQL support removed from Safari for good

Hi all,

In previous versions, even though WebSQL was disabled by default, it was possible to enable it back in Safari Settings, in the "Advanced" section.

However, this option seems to have disappeared in iOS 15. Does anybody know if there is still some flag somewhere to enable it back, or has it been removed for good?

To give a bit of context, I work developing a business-related Web application. Current versions of this application use IndexedDB to persistently store data in the browser, but older versions still used WebSQL, and many customers still use these old versions.

Any reply will be greatly appreciated. Regards,

Antonio.
