There’s a Setting buried fairly deep in your Settings app: Settings>Sounds and Haptics>Headphone Safety>Lightning Adapters>Forget all adapters, urrh, which may do the trick (probably need to remove then re-insert the Lightning plug to get it recognisedagain).
If you know who Manufactures and/or distributes your gadget, that might be worth looking into if the Forget Adapters setting doesn’t do it. ):-))
I got it on Amazon. It has the lightening connector & a headphone one on the same thing.
My phone doesn’t have lightning adapters on it.
This is the info for the cords…
And this is the package it came in
Is this a Headphone adapter from Apple with a Lightning connector? Or some other gadget?
