Headphones iPhone 12

So I got a headphone thing with a charger part on it, & it works fine wit music but when I get a call the headphones don’t work for the call. Please help?

There’s a Setting buried fairly deep in your Settings app: Settings>Sounds and Haptics>Headphone Safety>Lightning Adapters>Forget all adapters, urrh, which may do the trick (probably need to remove then re-insert the Lightning plug to get it recognisedagain).

If you know who Manufactures and/or distributes your gadget, that might be worth looking into if the Forget Adapters setting doesn’t do it. ):-))
