How to set myself up as an administrator?

Thanks for that info. We can trick your Mac into re-running the Setup Assistant and letting you create a new administrator.

Before we start, I need to know how your internal drive is set up.

1. Open Terminal, located in Applications -> Utilities.
2. Type this command and hit Enter (Return): diskutil apfs list
3. Post the results here.
