Email address changing (Used as my Apple ID)
My email address which is my apple id is going away. Do I need to change my apple id or add my new email address as a contact? If I update my apple id, will my account activity transfer, too?

Your account will be all right as long as you modify your email address on this account and do not do it by creating a new Apple Account/ID.

- You may wish to disable Settings > Find My before changing your information, change the information, then reactivate it with the new information.
