iPadOS 15.0 Excel problem

Since updating to iPadOS 15.0, I have noticed a problem when using the Excel app. I tend to use the app so that it occupies the full screen. If I update or modify the contents of a cell and press the green tick to the right of the formula bar, the app only uses half of my screen and the other half is black. Has anyone else seen this problem?
